Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), is a registration system based on block-chain. It is executed in the public interest (PI) to control the complete SMS spam. It is accomplished to stop the fraud, occurring through SMSes nowadays. Whoever wants to send PROMOTIONAL BULK SMSes and TRANSACTIONAL SMSes to their customers needs to be registered under DLT platform.
TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ,Act,1997) has mandated that all businesses (private company and Government organizations) that want to send SMS to their customers need register their business, headers (Sender ID's), content SMS templates and consent templates on any of the DLT platforms.
Note: For sending SMSes and creating your SMS portal/panel, we need PE (Principle Entity) id, Sender id (s) with Header id (s) and SMS content with name and template id.
